Mori Seiki Co.Ltd, Nagoya, Japan and the company Sandvik signed on 31. January 2008 the contract for taking over the business of Tobler SAS, France, which was part of the Sandvik Tooling business area. Tobler has operations in Louvres, France and produces precision mandrels and clamping solutions.
The transfer of the Tobler unit enables Mori Seiki to increase the engineering performance in Europe to supply the customers as total supplier for machine tool and work holdings. Tobler SAS is strong in the automotive related industries.
The business will be continued under the brand Tobler SAS.
